METROPOLIS (2000), BY BOB RANKIN

This work is similar to Bob Rankin's Cityscape, which I acquired from him in April 1999. However, while Cityscape uses a palette of bright colors (yellows, pinks, greens), Metropolis uses a darker palette of purples, reds, and blues. It gives the work a completely different sense of energy... it's like a photographic negative of Cityscape. It almost seems electrical to me.
