While I was visiting Bob Rankin at the CenterFest (Bob is one of the founding members), he recommended that I check out Earl James' work. I went over and had a good conversation with Earl, and decided to purchase this vase from him. This is the very first work in glass that I acquired! The vase is cylindrical and contains multiple layers of differently-colored glass... the effect is very nice, and is impervious to wear since the entire effect is contained within the glass.
